Hard to believe it's been a year since the SUV Class of 2016 performed the musical, Fiddler on the Roof. Creating the horse costume and sourcing faux wine bottles for the tavern dance scene and painting a few stage props were my 'art' projects in February 2016.
Weekend sculptor and painter, Cheri is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science and Design and a Masters Degree in Community Planning.
Cheri's 25+ years of work experience in design and urban planning range from human-scaled jewelry and furniture design to interior architecture and faux finishes to urban site planning and regional planning.
Cheri enjoys every phase of the sculpting process, including sculpting, mold-making, and casting in plaster, wax, and resins. Much of her inspiration comes from God’s most personal creation-- the human form. Much of her motivation comes from her family.
