Notes: First bronze and first piece that I did not personally mold and cast. It would have been much more difficult to give that up if not for the skilled foundary hands at Casting Arts & Technology in Cincinnati, OH.
This set of photos, sequenced to show process, covers each phase from sculpting, molding to casting in resin. The bronze faux finish helps to envision this piece in bronze which is the intent for the next cast.

Weekend sculptor and painter, Cheri is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science and Design and a Masters Degree in Community Planning.
Cheri's 25+ years of work experience in design and urban planning range from human-scaled jewelry and furniture design to interior architecture and faux finishes to urban site planning and regional planning.
Cheri enjoys every phase of the sculpting process, including sculpting, mold-making, and casting in plaster, wax, and resins. Much of her inspiration comes from God’s most personal creation-- the human form. Much of her motivation comes from her family.
